このたび、NEW ART HOLDINGSならびにエクセルコ ダイヤモンドが開催する「WORLD JEWELRY DESIGN AWARD 2026」において、厳正なる審査の結果、各賞の受賞作品が決定いたしました。
「新星」という募集テーマに対して、国内外より応募総数374点もの作品をお寄せいただきました。多くのご応募をいただきましたこと、心より御礼申しあげます。
テーマに込められた世界観をそれぞれの感性で解釈し、ジュエリーを通じて表現したい想いや、身に着ける方へのまなざしが込められたデザインの数々に、関係者一同感銘を受けております。
厳正なる審査を経て選出された、グランプリ、特別賞、優秀賞の各受賞作品を発表いたします。
グランプリ（賞金 300万円）
作品名：Ripple
受賞者：松丸 真理子 様／会社員
【コンセプト・作品説明】
私は妊娠という経験を通して、
通院のたび、お腹の中の小さな命の成長を確認するたび、
これまで出会ってきた人々や経験との
深いつながりを感じるようになった。
お腹の中で育つ小さな命もまた、
たくさんの人とのつながりに支えられ、
やがて新たなつながりを生み出していく。
本作品では、
中央のダイヤモンドを命のはじまりに見立て、
その周囲を囲む大小さまざまなプラチナの粒で、
人との絆や受け継がれる想いを表現した。
粒は中心から自然に広がり、
静かな水面に生まれる波紋のように、
未来へ続く無限のつながりを描いている。
そんな命の尊さと広がりを、
ひとつのリングに託した。
【審査員講評】
プラチナの粒の連なりは、宇宙に無数に存在する星のみならず、人間社会における人々の繋がりまでも想像させました。
ダイヤモンドを装飾する周囲の小さなダイヤモンドという関係を脱して、中心の石とそれを取り巻くプラチナの粒が一体となって「新星」を感じさせる。妊娠中に、お腹の中の新しい命に触発されたという造形は、全体に本能が探り当てた生命感・宇宙感がみなぎっているように感じられ、発掘するべき才能がここにあるように感じた。
きらめきを放つ美しい中心部は、周囲を取り巻く終わりのない円運動によって、驚くほど見事に支えられ、その動きを際立たせています。それゆえに、このリングは極めて独創的かつ柔らかな美しさを持ち、常に躍動感と力強さを感じさせるジュエリーとなっています。身につけることそのものが、人生を豊かにする体験となるでしょう。単なる美しい装飾品にとどまらず、身につける人の一部となり、さりげない気品や個性、そして確かな存在感を添えてくれます。洗練されたデザインと心を奪うような動きが、持ち主の個性を深く映し出す特別なジュエリーを生み出し、その人の人柄や洗練された感性、そして内なる想いを美しく表現しているのです。
これはスケッチですが、実際に出来上がったものを想像すると、とても魅力的な、美しい気品を兼ね備えたものになるだろうと感じます。これもやはり何か、宇宙の星々の連なりと輝きを思わせます。

作品名：Entrelacé（アントルラセ）

【コンセプト・作品説明】
光は突然生まれるのではなく、小さな輝きが引力に導かれるように少しずつ惹かれ合い、やがて新しい星となります。
大小さまざまな光の粒が流れながら集い、中心でひとつの輝きへ結ばれる瞬間を表現しました。
新たに生まれた光は、未来へ向かって静かに輝き続けます。
“Entrelacé” はフランス語で「結び合う」「絡み合う」という意味です。
人と人、想いと想いが引き寄せられ、新たな輝きとして結ばれる瞬間を、このリングに込めました。
【審査員講評】
見た瞬間特別な気品を感じました。遠い宇宙の銀河を連想させられました。
光が生まれる瞬間という目に見えない現象をモチーフとして表現された、繊細なダイヤモンドの配置が印象的な作品である。大小さまざまなダイヤモンドを有機的な葉のようなフォルムの中にレイヤー状に重ねて配置することで、繊細な輝きを演出している。目に見えないテーマを具象化することで、観る者に多彩なイメージや想像を膨らませてくれる優れた作品となっている。
優秀賞（賞金 50万円）

【コンセプト・作品説明】（抜粋）
Core（＝中心、核、芯）
コア（core）とは、中心、核、芯を意味する英語です。物事の大切な部分や、中心となる場所や機能を表します。
輝く新星の、中心核をイメージしてデザイン
中心から広がる円のユニットが交差する位置に
ダイヤをそれぞれ配置、輝きが飛び散る瞬間のような
フォルムにしました。
【審査員講評】
多環体の構造に、新しいジュエリーデザインの視点を感じた。中心となる石の周囲に細やかな飾りを付与するという着想ではなく、球状の立体の要所にダイヤモンドを配置するという発想に、攻めの姿勢を感じた。位相幾何学的な構造をジュエリーデザインに持ち込むことで、石と台座という関係を突破していく意識を感じた。
球体に近づくほど使い勝手は悪くなっていくように思うが、それを超えてなお、この形にする意義を強く感じた。この構造により、光が石にどのように集まるのか？その時、これまで以上の美しさが手に入るのか？を見てみたいと思わせるデザイン。
なお、受賞作品については、株式会社NEWARTにて製品化を行い、2026年12月8日（火）に開催する授賞式にてお披露目の後、エクセルコ ダイヤモンドにて発売予定です。

EXELCO DIAMOND Announces Winners of the “WORLD JEWELRY DESIGN AWARD 2026”
Three Winning Designs Selected from 374 Entries Worldwide Under the Theme of “Nova” to Be Commercialized and Showcased at the Belgian Embassy in Tokyo
EXELCO DIAMOND, operated by NEW ART Co., Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of NEW ART HOLDINGS Co., Ltd.), is pleased to announce the winning designs of the “WORLD JEWELRY DESIGN AWARD 2026.”
Centering on the theme of “ supernova ” (新星), the inaugural award received 374 entries from emerging and established designers both domestically and internationally. We extend our sincere gratitude to all the creators who submitted their works. The judging panel was deeply impressed by the diverse interpretations of the theme, the heartfelt craftsmanship expressed through fine jewelry, and the thoughtful consideration given to the wearers.
Following a rigorous and impartial evaluation, the winners of the Grand Prix, Special Award, and Excellence Award have been selected.
Grand Prix (Prize: ¥3,000,000 / approx. $20,000 USD)

【Design Concept】
“Through the experience of pregnancy—every hospital visit, every moment feeling the growth of the tiny life within me—I developed a profound sense of connection to the people I have met and the experiences I have shared.
The fragile life growing inside is sustained by an interconnected network of people, and in turn, it will go on to create new connections of its own.
In this piece, the central diamond represents the origin of life, enveloped by platinum beads of varying sizes that symbolize the bonds between people and the shared emotions passed down through generations.
Spreading organically from the center like ripples across a serene water surface, the design portrays an infinite continuum of life reaching into the future.
I entrusted the sacredness and expansive nature of life to this single ring.”

“The sequence of platinum beads evokes not only the countless stars scattered throughout the universe, but also the profound interconnectedness of human society.”
“The harmony of the sparkling beautiful core is astonishingly supported and carried by the never-ending circular motion of the surroundings. That makes the ring for me an extremely original, soft, and beautiful piece of jewelry which has always a great movement and strength. Wearing this jewel is an enrichment in itself. More than an exquisite adornment, it becomes part of the person who wears it, adding a subtle sense of elegance, individuality and presence. Its refined design and captivating movement create a jewel that feels deeply personal – a beautiful expression of character, sophistication and emotion.”

【Design Concept】
“Light is not born in an instant; rather, delicate gleams are drawn together by gravity, gradually intertwining until they form a new star.
This design captures the precise moment when streams of luminous particles gather across varying scales, coalescing into a singular, unified brilliance at the core.
The newly awakened light continues to shine serenely toward the future.
‘Entrelacé’ is the French word for ‘intertwined’ or ‘woven together.’ I poured into this ring the wish that people and emotions are drawn to one another, culminating in a radiant new bond.”

“The moment I saw this piece, I was struck by its distinctive elegance. It reminded me of distant galaxies in the universe.”
“This remarkable work features an impressive, delicate diamond arrangement that materializes the invisible phenomenon of the birth of light. By layering diamonds of varying sizes across an organic, leaf-like silhouette, the piece generates a sophisticated interplay of light and shade. By giving tangible form to an intangible concept, it sparks rich imagery and imagination in the observer.”

【Design Concept (Excerpt)】
“Core — the essential center, nucleus, or heart.
The word ‘core’ denotes the most vital foundation, central position, and fundamental function of an entity.
This design was inspired by the central core of a brilliant supernova.
Diamonds are placed at the intersection points of concentric units expanding from the center, capturing the dynamic geometry of a sudden burst of brilliance.”
【Judges’ Comments】
“The polycyclic structure offers a fresh perspective on jewelry design. Rather than simply adding delicate embellishments around a central stone, the idea of placing diamonds at key points on a spherical three-dimensional form demonstrates a bold approach. By incorporating topological structures into jewelry design, the piece suggests an intention to move beyond the conventional relationship between gemstone and setting.”
“ While a form that approaches a sphere may seem increasingly impractical to wear, I felt that the significance of adopting this form strongly outweighs that concern. This design makes me want to see how the structure draws and concentrates light onto the stones—and whether, in doing so, it can reveal a level of beauty beyond what we have seen before.
Commercialization and Upcoming Award Ceremony
Each winning design will be brought to life by master craftsmen at NEW ART Co., Ltd. and officially unveiled at the Award Ceremony on Tuesday, December 8, 2026, held at the Embassy of Belgium in Tokyo. Following the unveiling, the collection is scheduled for commercial release at EXELCO DIAMOND boutiques nationwide.
